Charrette Studio’s assessment of the location yielded a need for creating a tropical appeal in a high rise that could cater for the high demand of local tourism. We designed this development as a 15 room guest house with a semi open cafe’.
The stunning location of the lot with a beachfront view of white sands and crystal waters lapping to a palm studded shore was incorporated into the design of the building. To this end, we proposed a dynamic facade with an alternating form as responsive design that mirrors the waves breaking gently in front of the guesthouse.
Additionally, we designed an open concept ground floor layout to be a welcoming space for the high rise, and incorporated an infinity pool on the top floor to provide extended views towards the sea.
